Using the forum. By registering on this forum, you agree to use it properly, and to refrain from posting any content that is aggressive, offensive, defamatory, hateful, or in violation of applicable laws and regulations. RULES FOR ENLISTMENT
 
Hello, and welcome!!
We would like to thank you for your interest in RSS, the premier Speed Sniper DODS Clan. Please follow the directions for enlistment to the letter!!  Recruits of RSS will Need to Be at Least 14yo.  Must also have a Microphone so we can hear them speak . and get an idea of their maturity..

You will begin by making a post in the enlistment area of the forums.  The title of the topic must be your in-game name with the word application following.

We will require the following information in its entirety.  Feel free to copy paste this part and fill in the info.

Age:
Do you have a fully working microphone?
Time zone you usually play in:
Steam ID number (go into a server and type "status" in console):
A little bit about yourself (mostly online experience):
How long you've been playing in the server  (approximately)
Any side notes you consider important enough to mention.


After making your post please check it regularly.  A senior ranking officer will reply and give you your instructions as to tag etc.  If accepted, the following format will be used to apply your new tag : Yourname[SS]Rec    (it's not a mistake, it's [SS], not RSS).
Do not however apply this tag until you have been given permission to do so. Violations can directly affect your enlistment!!  After being accepted/sponsered by a senior member, please pm me at the following link with, your name, status (recruit) and your forum permissions as well as site rank will be adjusted accordingly.

You will be observed in game and on the website and a decision will be reached as to accept or not accept you into the Clan..

Important note: Do NOT keep PMing the officer/officers in charge of the observation or any other ranking officers regarding the subject. It will lower your chances of joining us.
 
Important Info For Recruits
 
Only Capt. and Higher Can Sponser a Recruit.
This Sponser will be the only person allowed to give Pvt. Tags
 Minimum Recruit time is 2 Weeks.
 If not made Pvt. within 1 month Rec Must be officially rejected by Sponser.
 If Sponser is AWOL . Another member may step in . the original
sponsor must have good reason to be AWOL . if not you will be demoted
for leaving your Recruit in Limbo.
Be committed if you want to Recruit.
 
 
Promotions:
 
Only Col. and Gen. Can Request Promotions in the Forums

Lower officers can approach these top ranks with requests VIA PM or Private Chat for promotions.

Promotions can only be made up to the Rank of Lt.Col.
Riddick Will Promote from that point.

All Requests must be in Singular Form . Don't Request 3 people in the Same Post . Keep them seperate.

Members Commenting on Request may NOT make any reference to other players or promotions that have not been officially posted by a Col.-Gen.

RSS Rules of conduct:

 RSS expects All members to be courteous to all players at all times.

 RSS members with RSS tags on are also required to follow these rules
while playing on other Servers ... If you are going to represent RSS you
will behave as if on our own server.
 Rude Behavior by RSS members will Result in demotion or discharge
depending on the violation. This will be enforced! "Fair Warning..

Admins MUST Administer
 
Admins Are Expected to Take care of the Server when Playing .

 This includes Kicking AFK's and Specs when Server is Full.

 Dealing with Server Violators immediately.

 Failure to Comply will result in immediate demotion to the rank of
SGT. ouch!!

 Cpl. ,Sgt. ,SSgt. & MSgt. will have Admin power to Kick. This requires
member to officially request this power in a PM to Riddick . Make sure to include your S
TEAM ID. Admin powers will not be given without a request. Each request will be individually evaluated!!
 
Internal Affairs Department

  A Team of top Admins has been assembled to monitor the server
at random times. This may be at the request of a member who feels admin abuse is taking place or non admins behavng foolishly while no admin are present or playing on other servers with RSS tags and making us look bad.. Beware ... Someone maybe be watching you at anytime.  So follow the rules and there is no need to worry about it!
 
Proper Chain of Command
 Highest Ranking Admin on Server is just that .

 Don't Call a map vote without the consent of the Top Admin.

 If not sure about a server issue then ask the Top Admin


Game Server Rules
No cheating, hacking or map exploits are allowed. Anything that gives you advantage over other players, regardless of being of a hardware or software nature, will not be tolerated.
Cursing is not permitted.
No shooting in spawn, intentional team killing or team wounding will be tolerated. Remember to apologize to someone if you team kill them accidentally.
Do not call other people cheaters or hackers. Nobody likes whining people, and calling them names will not solve the situation – it’ll make it worse for you, actually. If you suspect someone of hacking, go on spectator mode, record a demo and submit a ban request through sourceban link on site portal. It will be reviewed and appropriate actions taken.
Horse play will not be tolerated when it interferes with game play or otherwise distracts from  other players enjoyment of our server. (for example, hitting your teammates with a knife/shovel in spawn, throwing your gun in the air and picking it up, etc.), during game.  If you’re playing, then do what you’re supposed to do, and help your team get the victory.
Porn sprays or user logos are not allowed.


Banning and ban appeals:
 
Every admin has the right to correct and/or punish a disruptive player the way he thinks fits the situations according to RSS guidelines. Long bans for minor infractions and etc. will not be tolerated.
Every player has the right to protest a ban. This can be done by clicking the sourceban link on the site portal and filling out a un-ban request. Do not post your unban request in forums!! Do not hound RSS members!! Your request will be reviewed and appropriate action taken.

Foul Language
Explicit Verbal Outburst without Apology.

Verbal or Typed Racist Remarks.
Gets 1 Warning, Explanation, then if player violates again. Immediate 1 week ban, and must include descriptive comments in sourcebans comment section for Admin /Generals review for Perm Ban.

Typing the "F" bomb or the "N" word  etc.
Gets 1 Warning, Explanation, then if player violates again. Immediate 1 week ban, and must include descriptive comments in sourcebans comment section for admin review and Generals review for Perm Ban.

Hacking/Game Exploits /Any 3rd party program that gives unfair advantage over general public.
/Map Exploits ect.

1st offense ///// Warning
2nd offense/////Ban 3 days and must include descriptive comments in sourcebans comment section, demo and/or witnesses (demo preferred) for Admin /Generals review for Perm Ban.

Mic Spamming/Constant Complaining/or any Annoying Behavior that disrupts game play.

Ignoring Admins/or Disrespecting Admin

Offensive Sprays/Pornographic Sprays ect.

Outside Clan Recruiting in RSS Servers, Website Advertising

General Admin Conduct:
All RSS Admin should be Calm and Assertive in Performing they're Admin Duties.
Don't forget the word "Please" goes a long way.
Remember that we have a 3 Strikes Rule. Don't forget to remind players of this rule.

Perm Bans:
Perm Bans can ONLY be administered by RSS Generals and/or be ordered to be done.
Perm Bans should always be I.P. Banned. /The General(s) involved in the Perm Ban should always show in the Sourceban Record.

Map Changes and Map Votes
All map votes MUST be made by the Senior Admin in server or Authorized by such.
All map votes MUST include the Current Map with the exception of Snowbridge, in the event of a map vote while Snowbridge is current map, Snowbridge will not be included in vote.
All map votes are primarily for consideration for our public gamers not the whims and wishes of the admins.
All map votes must be limited to “3” Popular Maps.
Any Admin not adhering to these policies for map votes will have their map vote privileges revoked and be sent to Generals for review.


For Clarification:
The part “additional issues” relates to Multiple Infractions/Violations
Example:"Player was T/King. Was warned, then kicked, then came back with some foul remarks and disrespected the Admin."

In that case a Longer Ban/Harsher Punishment is warranted and should be leveled against that player. However doing so
must include the additional violations in the comment section in sourcebans / and a request for Harsher Punishment must be included. By harsher, it must still be within ban guidelines until reviewed and approved by Sourceban Admin and/or Generals.

Understand that administrating our servers with to lenient of a punishment is just as bad as being to harsh. Our players expect and deserve fair play, a fun gaming environment, and mature and fair Admins. Our Admins generally are great people which are the cornerstone of our gaming community. We represent Riddick’s Speed Snipers and as such MUST adhere to the rules and above all else set the example that “WE” are our community!!

Foot Note:
All members with Admin Powers MUST visit the Forums/Soursebans websites multiple times per week to make sure that they are current with any and all RSS changes and re-visions, as well as being an Active Member in our community.
The days of “I haven’t checked those websites for over a month” are gone. We WILL be a proactive group and keep current on our duties as Admins.

Being an Admin in RSS is a privilege, not a right, so earn that privilege by being a Great Admin!!!

All RSS members who have Admin Powers MUST and WILL register, set-up, and use Sourcebans.
Those of you who have not been visiting that website, or have not set-up sourcebans within 1 weeks time of this posting, will have their Admin Powers Revoked until they fall into compliance.

No amount of complaining will get these powers re-instated. You MUST be in compliance with the sourcebans requirements before they will be re-instated, PERIOD!!

Complaints:
 
All players and members have the right to make a complaint through the complaint section of the forums.  Complaints which include insulting remarks, name calling, or other childish behavior will be removed and poster will receive a warning and possibly be removed form site.
Indirect posts as the latest ones will be considered spam and locked. If the user persists in the error, he/she will be issued formal forum warnings.
Regular complaints should be posted in Complaint Department following, if possible, the standard post put in the top of the section. Remember be direct and provide as much evidence as you can (screenshots and demos).

Forum Rules
 
Respect other users and no the swearing rule are in affect here as well.

Spamming (posting various topics of the same subject) is not allowed.

Porngraphic pictures, pirate content or anything offensive or against the laws of the
United States of America
is totally forbidden.

Each user may have up to 3 (three) Forum Warnings. The Third Warning means the user is banned from the forums. These warnings and bans shall be delivered by forum admins
Multiple accounts are not allowed as they are not necessary and only occupy server space. For a name change or problems with account, contact the Board Administrator.
